Modular Homes are Eligible for Grants
Over the last few weeks one of the number one questions we’ve been asked is whether modular homes qualify for the State and Federal housing grants – the answer is YES. Provided you meet all other eligibility criteria, modular homes are treated identically to a regular in-situ home.
Some key points in the HomeBuilder package have been clarified by the Federal Government, with a Frequently Asked Question sheet also available. The Homebuilder information resource now includes information for each state and a signup form is available to stay updated.

12/2020 – UPDATE: The Federal Homebuilder now has extended the grant at a reduced rate of $15,000 eligible on contracts signed between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2021, inclusive.
